3-D Service Authorized to Distribute Magnom Filters

MASSILLON , Ohio — 3-D Service announced today its authorization as a distributor for Magnom® filters, a product of Fluid Conditioning Systems, Ltd (FCS). Based in Warwick, United Kingdom, FCS operates in selected segments of a 25 billion dollar global market, working in close partnership with distributors. FCS entered the U.S. market in 2003. 3-D Service, a leader in the repair and maintenance of commercial and industrial equipment, is one of its first U.S. distributors.

Featured in industry publications, such as Plant & Engineering Control, Power Engineering, and Science & Technology, the Magnom filter is a revolutionary product in advanced fluid conditioning. The Magnom uses magnetic field effect to trap contaminants as small as 0.07 microns and prevent them from washing back into the fluid, even in high velocity or high vibration applications. Uniquely, it achieves this without incurring pressure drop, even when the filter is full. It has no moving parts, is 100 percent scaleable, and functions in a diverse range of fluid pressures, temperatures and viscosities. The Magnom can operate for very long periods without service, and when contaminants need to be removed, it is easily cleaned and re-used eliminating the disposal problems associated with conventional filter elements.
