Wind Power Technician Job Location: Massillon, Ohio General Responsibilities: Perform up-tower electrical and mechanical maintenance and repairs on wind power turbines throughout the United States. Qualifications: Electro-mechanical fundamentals, including lubrication, VRCC checks, pitch system calibration, yaw system, capacitors, thyristors, alignment and clearance inspections, plug-in service panel. Ability to keep accurate maintenance records. Knowledge of Ohm's law, series and parallel circuits, energy and power related to voltage and current. Organized and attention to detail. Outdoor work in all weather conditions. Skill in the safe/proper use of test equipment. Able to travel and work overtime/weekends as needed to meet customer and in-house demands. Excellent communication skills. Education/Experience: Post-secondary education in electrical or related field and one year of electrical or mechanical experience, preferably in the area of wind turbine operations and maintenance.
