Machinist Job Location: Massillon, Ohio General Responsibilities: Perform repair, fabrication and electroplating of components for electro-mechanical industrial equipment using lathes, mills, shapers, drill presses and grinders. Qualifications: Dependable, all around machinist to work in custom shop environment. This is not a production processing position. Able to setup and operate standard shop equipment, including manual lathes and mills. Able to work from mechanical drawings/sketches, machine within tolerances, and work with minimum supervision. This position may require some traveling and requires working overtime/weekends as needed to meet customer and in-house demands. Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent and 2 to 5 years experience in use of machine tools including lathe, mill, and drill press. Must have experience in the use of precision measurement tools, use of hand tools, layout and bench work, and reading mechanical prints. Machinist journeyman’s card a plus but not required.
